Cybele C. Woon, M.D.

Cybele C. Woon, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in neuro-ophthalmology. She has provided comprehensive ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, cataract, and medical aesthetic services as a part of Whitsett Vision Group since 2003.

Dr. Woon obtained her Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, with a one-year internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. She then undertook a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology through UTMB-Galveston under the renowned Dr. Rosa Tang.

Dr. Woon is a a certified physician with the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is also a member of the Houston Ophthalmology Society, the Texas Ophthalmologic Association and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society.

Dr. Woon’s clinical and research interests include:
• Improving patients’ vision and overall quality of life through expert neuro-ophthalmologic care
• Treatment and management of medical conditions of the retina
• Create individualized cosmetic procedure plans with each patient, and performs all cosmetic treatments
