Jeffrey C. Whitsett, M.D.
Cataract and Refractive Surgeon
Dr. Jeffrey Whitsett is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cataract and refractive surgeon. In the more than two decades since he founded the practice, Whitsett Vision Group has become recognized as a world-class surgery practice, an innovator in the field of ophthalmology, and a renowned clinical research center, becoming one of the country’s most sought-after clinical trial sites for new intraocular lenses.
First in the Country ▪ Dr. Jeffrey Whitsett was the first in the United States to implant the ClearView 3 multifocal lens (due to his clinical trial outcomes)

Dr. Cybele Woon is a board-certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in neuro-ophthalmology. She has provided comprehensive ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, cataract, and medical aesthetic services as a part of Whitsett Vision Group since 2003.

Director of Research
Dr. Zaina Al-Mohtaseb is a board-certified ophthalmologist and surgeon, specializing in cataract, LASIK, and cornea surgery for Whitsett Vision Group patients, as well as comprehensive ophthalmology.
First in the Country ▪ Dr. Zaina Al-Mohtaseb performed the 1st endothelial cell injection procedure in the United States to treat corneal endothelial disease.

Dr. David Fu is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He has provided comprehensive optometric care as well as pre- and postoperative care of surgical patients at Whitsett Vision Group since 2007.

Donald J. Norcini is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and The University of Houston, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his Doctorate with honors from The University of Houston College of Optometry. While at the University, he completed internships at Fort Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs and Riverside Health Clinic in Houston.

He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Texas A&M University in 2001 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2007.
